On Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June, the Fête de la Mer will take place in the port of Capbreton.
Since the first appearance of this festival in 1946, this festival represents a tribute to sailors lost at sea. According to this tradition: the Prefect, the Mayor and a Priest, on a flagship, must throw a wreath of flowers into the sea.
